Lincoln Ristorante *

At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. While our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool and Henry Moore sculpture is exquisite, with panoramic views and a grass lawn roof, the heart of our restaurant is the central open kitchen.

The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Greenmarket, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable. We honor the Italian culinary tradition of making our own fresh pastas, grissini, focaccia and pastries. Whole lambs and pigs are broken down to make charcuterie including prosciutto cotto, mortadella, spallata and speck, as well as testa di maiale terrines, sausages, cotechino, salted porchetta and countless seasonal ragus. A focus and commitment to freshness and respect for every ingredient is paramount in our daily life.

The menu offers our take on traditional preparations ranging from spaghetti al pomodoro to vitello tonnato and simply grilled branzino. Antipasti coax rustic ingredients (oxtail, burrata, veal sweetbreads) into dishes with deep, savory flavors. Desserts, by Richard Capizzi, are beautiful renditions of Italy’s classics: light, lush and irresistible. Our role in the Lincoln Center community is to provide a gracious fine dining experience that reflects the best of both Italy and New York. While reservations are recommended to ensure a table, walk-ins are welcome at our bar where the full menu is served along with cocktails, a Negroni specialty menu and an all-Italian wine list. Wine Director Aaron von Rock and his team offer 350 selections, constantly evolving and focused on small producers.

Lincoln Ristorante is open seven days a week offering lunch, pre-theater, dinner and weekend brunch. It is accessible at street level on 65th Street or via Lincoln Center’s plaza. The stunning glass pavilion building that houses the restaurant was designed by Diller, Scofidio + Renfro. We invite you to join us, share a meal and a glass of wine at our table.

Buon Appetito!
